The following information is a listing of Facebook pages for animal control facilities, humane societies, shelters and missing pet networks across the Delmarva Peninsula. The area called Delmarva technically includes the state of Delaware (three counties), eastern shore of Maryland (nine counties), and the eastern shore of Virginia (two counties).
If you have LOST a pet, it is extremely important that you file a missing animal report with the facility that handles animal control for your county right away. Once you have done that, we recommend reaching out to all shelters, veterinarians and pet-related businesses within a 3-5 mile radius, as well as posting lost flyers in person around your neighborhood and at nearby businesses.
